Description
I painted Tatara, a beach in my hometown of Omishima. The Seto Inland Sea, where Omishima is located, is known for its extreme tidal range. The tidal currents change their expression from moment to moment, and the rocks are chipped away by the force of the currents. I drew this picture based on my experience of swimming and playing in such a sea since I was a child.
