Shinichi is pursuing super-realism style based on realistic paintings using classical techniques and he's work is incorporating modern colors and abstract background processing. He creates his work with just oil painting and the process goes in the following 5 steps: Substrate surface, imprimature in brown or dark green color, grisaille, main coating, and lastly, the finish coating. The concept in future creative activities is to expand his style from realism. Shinichi is inspired by Rembrandt and since then he focuses mainly on portraits.
