A bison stands tall amidst the cold winds. I employ a fluid brushstroke technique to portray the subject's fur, breaking up the dense black hairs to capture the interplay of light and shadow reflected in the snow. The amalgamation of heavy clouds, icy currents, pristine snow, vibrant vegetation, and dried hay converge within its gaze, encapsulating the essence of the moment. Taking cues from the color palette found in Dunhuang, I utilize overlapping layers of gray-blue and brown, creating an expansive composition that amplifies the primal power emanating from the artwork.
