Ink and silk are the trademarks of my artistic identity. Clearly influenced by the Japanese culture, the haiku and the butoh dance. Mostly i create works in black and white, with the human figure dominant throughout. The origin of images is the foundation of my art work. Images are like disappearing threads of smoke that, only by the tug and sense of the resistance and direction and quality, there is a hope of “knowing” the unknown existence on the other side ― and there, where the threads start, I feel there might be an origin. The gaze into the origin of images is like gazing into nothinness.
