Description

Two horses standing side by side.
The horse in the back is looking forward to victory, while the horse in the front is looking back at us.
The title "centesimal" means "one one-hundredth," and it is a good idea to be mindful of the horse in front of you while competing against each other.
I am concerned about the competition because I realize that in this day and age, where there are so many opportunities for expression, one criticism can be more upsetting than 100 likes. What may seem trivial to one person may have a huge impact on the other person.
It is also said that when horses race, they can make a difference of 19 cm in 1/100th of a second. The horse in the picture is drawn as if there is a difference of 19 cm.
I hope this will help you to realize that this small difference has a big meaning.

Concept

Born in 1985 in Tokyo, Japan
Graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Fine Arts, Painting Course
Attracted by the wrinkles and muscles of elephants and rhinoceroses she saw at the zoo, she began to draw ink paintings with animals as motifs.
After graduating, she became involved with and managed many artists and events at a gallery cafe.
In 2017, she became freelance and independent.
She has participated in and planned various events, outdoor exhibitions at a former elementary school
live painting at a zoo, and collaborating with a bag shop.
In recent years, she has been on a round-the-world tour of Japan and Africa as an artist-in-residence on a cruise ship.
