The neck-biting beast appears when individuals engage with others and society. Engaging with others is an important part of leading a fulfilling life, but with social media easily accessible via smartphones, people are constantly exposed to social networking sites even when they are alone, making them aware of the presence of others and sensitive to how they are viewed by others. This is important in that the individual is influenced by society and society is shaped by the individual. The literal translation of this work, "Bitten from Within," means "bitten by itself. The beast has a frightening appearance, but it is a severed head only, and its bite cannot kill a person. It is up to the individual to remove the beast or leave it as it is.
