Toda's work shows characters such as "yum" living freely in harmony with their surroundings and nature in their purest form. In this work, yum has leapt out of the conventional monochrome world into a more colorful one, and the more euphoric picture is characterized by a freshness to the viewer. Another key point is that the paintings, which have an impressionist-like texture, are uneven when viewed up close and show different expressions depending on the angle from which they are viewed.
