    Description

    It was inspired by a landscape of repeating staircases of waterfalls with short drops. Water, the subject of this work, circulates largely through the natural landscape and reflects the effects of gravity and fractals in the most flexible way. These actions are laws that are equally enjoyed by all things as long as they exist on earth, and since they have an effect on various current conditions and structures, they are seen as part of the essence of this world. In order to make it easier for the viewer to focus on the invisible phenomena and structures, he paints a semi-figurative world by permeating a sheet of cloth with dye rather than color particles, exploring the essence of the world as an approach to expression.

    Attracted by the delicacy of yuzen dyeing, a traditional Japanese antidyeing technique, and the transparency and luster of silk, she has been presenting works using this material and technique. Yuzen dyeing has been developed since the late Edo period to make kimonos look more beautiful and luxurious. By translating this purpose into pictorial expression, he formed his own unique style. Focusing on his impressions of natural scenery, he thinks and expresses from the laws and structure of nature.
