The motifs of "sea creature = coral" and "land creature = hana" were drawn based on the concept of "wallpaper for decoration. The coral, with its large and gorgeous shape, had a strong presence in the sea, and many fish were gathered around it. The scene was similar to the way bees and other insects gather in the hana, and I thought that this coral was a "home" for the fish, which reminded me of the importance of coral. To take advantage of the impressive shapes of the coral and the hana (cosmos), I arranged and painted them on the screen in a continuous pattern that could be perceived as inorganic, but no two coral and hana are identical. However, no two corals and hana (cosmos) are identical. I hope you can see and feel the slight discrepancy.
