Painted with iwa-enogu (mineral pigments) on cloud skin linen paper. From a red sky, I moved toward the deep blue of night. I think people associate night with black, but I used blue, green, and a little bit of yellow to evoke the morning beyond the night. The sun in the morning, the moon at night, there is light in every sky. You have been kind to me, so I wanted to send you my flowers. You taught me, so I wanted to share my words. I wanted you to see my sky because I love you.
