Mixed Media on stretched canvas, ready to hang.
This is a story about life. Every year, bushfires, which are among the most devastating natural disasters in Australia, strike this land. However, life on this land has never been defeated, and every heap of ashes brings a new beginning. Beneath the carbonized trunks, life persists, with new shoots gleaming in the morning light. The cool ashes of dawn meet the warm yellow of the rising sun, enveloping the tree trunks in a golden embrace. This is a hymn of rebirth.
Medium: Acrylic, foil, gesso, bonding media, gold leaf, and sealer.
