The painting depicts the landscape that I saw from the train window when traveling to the Carpathians.
The semi-abstract landscape was written from memory. The upper part of the picture is inlaid with Swarovski crystals, which are selected in color to match the background. The flickering of the picture makes the image not real and creates the effect of Deja vu.With my painting, I try to express how I see the world, and on an emotional level I communicate with the viewer, hoping to fix the moment on the canvas. This is a photo from my personal exhibition, "Wish You Were Here", held in 2018. at the Lesya Ukrainka Museum in Kiev.
The real painting looks much better than the photo, which is not able to adequately show the colours, texture and sensations of the live painting.
The ends of the picture are painted over,
and it is ready to be placed on the wall of your room.
