My reflections on sexuality and femininity led me to believe that women's sexuality is largely manifested through clothing. And I was looking for ways to convey this thought through the means of art.
The search ended with the creation of a series of works "Sexuality". Each of whose paintings conveys this quality through the image of a separate element of a woman's wardrobe.
This is how the painting "Bare Shoulder" (diptych) was born. It is like an enticing, but at the same time, non-binding, part of the body that is not ashamed or scared to open a little.
Used materials:
- thick cotton canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher 30x40 cm;
- cotton fabric;
- high quality lightfast acrylic paint.
The sides of the picture are painted and covered with a pattern made of fabric, does not require a frame.
