Japanese painting; cloud skin linen paper, mizu-hoshi pigments, mineral pigments, silver leaf
The VOLKSWAGEN Beetle, which is no longer manufactured. It still has strong roots and can be seen running around town. Even though the Beetle has been scrapped and sits in an empty lot, it is still very attractive. We can know the time that this Beetle has spent in the past.
This work was created using a technique that has never been done before: baking silver leaf and washing off the paint.
This work is framed with an acrylic plate. For reasons of reflection, the photo was taken without the acrylic plate.
