I have painted this work of art because when I see something that looks cool in my world, it could be looks, graffiti, music or dance, then I think they must be cool and amazing people inside that many people look up to and think about because it is seen as being prestige and attractive to be cool today. But if I get to know the person, then I will often find that the person is something other than a person showing, who turns out to be a lie, something I do not like about people. In my world, people do it because it's easier to get attention through your appearance or what you do, than to tell who you really are, which is not only amazing. In my world, they hope that someone will notice them and find them attractive so that they can have their sex needs met because they are not that good at telling who they really are. I see it is mostly men who hope that there is a woman who will find them attractive and want to have sex with them. In my world, I like people who show up are themselves, are cute and show that they are vulnerable, but I do not experience it. Unfortunately, the system wants us to look good, be perfect and hardworking people so we can live on a "perfect" and amazing planet, my opinion of it is that people are evil and it is wrong, and we need to slow down, work less and be ourselves.
The painting is on paper glued on to a wooden plate, and framed with wooden moldings on which patterns have been painted. It's made by mixed media and it shows my feelings, frustrations, dreams and desires on paper. I have painted graffiti letters that I think look cool, I have also taken something from a graffiti magazine and glued on the paper. The patterns i have made are inspired from tribal art, the small white fish i have drawn is my own symbol of sweetness, and the eye i have drawn and glued to the paper in the middle of the painting is to tell, that I see what I want. I have written words that are dreams, desires and frustrations in me. The heart sign i have made is a symbol of love and which is more important than anything else, and the cross sign is a symbol of something I can not avoid, that's just the way it is. The painting is about being yourself and not showing something you are not.
