Description

I really like to use my imagination and look for familiar shapes in randomly spilled spots. Each time, painting and drawing such work, is process, sometimes lasting a longer time and maturing to be shown to the public.
For this work, I used Canson Montval 300 gsm paper. The painting is black and white, with all scale of greys, made with ink, watercolor and pencils.
On the back of the painting, with a pencil, there is a information about the title, author and paper.

Concept

Kuokkanen is a member of the Finnish Watercolor Art Association and has participated in several watercolor exhibitions both in Finland and internationally, including in Italy, Poland, Chile, and Spain. Her works often focus on the connections between humans and nature, but she also uses her imagination to create soul landscapes and profound messages.

"The purpose of art is to bring joy, light, and hope," Kuokkanen says. "I believe that the objects in our homes should bring a smile to our faces and make everyday life more meaningful." Her goal is to bring beauty and aesthetics to every home through expertly painted artworks, elegant lamps, handcrafted sinks, inspiring murals, beautiful cups, and unique countertops.

Kuokkanen offers commissioned portraits and other custom works, painting with watercolors or acrylics. Additionally, she paints canvases, furniture, and walls, and she also draws, sculpts, and creates ceramics. Each piece is crafted with care and love.

"I hope my art brings people as much joy as I experience while creating it," Kuokkanen shares.

Does this art work need a frame?

In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
