Depression is all upon us, everyday and in many different ways. Spiral Season was created with this in mind, your mental health. With many images within this piece, you can see hands climbing out escaping from the traumatized eyes, beautiful rose blossoming out of the inner mouth, grey skin scale premium blending, bright and rough to touch rigid colorful lips, Bold teeth and graffiti Art/messages within the spiral to show that there is beauty within your depressive spiral.
This painting was painted using Oil, Acrylic and Airbrush techniques to show the versatility of our minds and moods. My personal connection to Spiral Season is personally battling depression. My life has been nothing but a lifetime movie of which can not be written. Full of graceful and blissful up's and down's, I strongly believe that its only through these we can learn our life lessons and continue to find the beauty within it all.
