Description

The work represents a "normal" person who is rotten inside, devoid of empathy, distorted
I was inspired by the society in which we live where intolerance reigns towards the most unfortunate, immigrants, people of different "races" and so on.
The work is made with acrylics, with brushstrokes with nervous and dirty features: to underline the ugliness, the wickedness of the soul. Despite the blouse flowers that could mean love in reality dyeing black give a meaning of hate and death.

Concept

Art is everything that springs from an emotion and causes as many emotions by looking at it.
I often happen to be called an artist of the soul, and that's exactly how I would describe myself. I have always thought that art must be an expression of one's soul, of one's experience, and so I try to tell through painting my life, today's society with its petty and humane background, the continuous search for love and empathy, of balance between man and nature. The paintings represent all these elements filtered through me, and at the same time they can all be reflected in them.
