Honestly, this work was inspired by one and only anime "Attack on Titans". Although it is a really twisted and specific recreation on some emotion I had left after watching it for the first time.
The background is commonly not me abstracted. The reason behind it is the attempt to show unspoiled environment of an island where they've been living. The colors represent deep dark woods, wide open fields and blue-blue sky and ocean. In my opinion, the surrounding is integral part, because it shows how small and sometime lonely we feel.
Another remarkable part is surly people. I'll keep a tiny mystery and won't tell a lot about these characters. However, I would mention that they have this godlike energy almost like giants. but what is to be a human? Is there a cost for dignity, kindness and loyalty? And aren't you just superfluous in the "society" that people had created?
And in the summery, seagulls as the naive animals predicting freedom and noise.
