Concept

The Fragments: They are painful because they do not give the whole, the shortcomings are felt, they are dramatic and with historical memory we try to recompose the fragments themselves. You have to reassemble them to give them meaning, through dramaturgy you can reassemble and give value and new life. The fragment is totally lacking, to have the latter I must have a formal invention and give life and perspective back to the fragment. All our culture comes from a stratification of fragments, we only have fragments of our past, our history, our most lively reality. Modernity is made with the fragment; we are neoclassical, every time we discover a part of our past, the vision of today changes. The poetics of the fragments is also the "aesthetics of waste". Creative act: Fragmentation includes the possibility, the case, the eventuality, the contingency, the ephemeral and the incompleteness.The fragment is able to restore dignity to the irreducible singularities that characterize the concrete experience. Powders are a fragment. I create works with CO2 polluting powders, pneumatic powders, iron dust and iron oxides, vegetable fragments, works with compressed air and which become pictorial pigment.
