This series of paintings, Ashes, uses a technique developed by me for dry painting using wood ash or bamboo. All wood ash comes from certified wood, used as firewood for a pizza oven... ecological painting material and reuse I create tempera, with dried bamboo leaves collected in the forest. With this technique, I paint directly on the canvas with gray, and through the technique I developed, I get different gray scales. In this painting: the lightest part is grey, the graphic undulations, graphite. The lower left corner, another darker gray graduation, with grays,and tempera bamboo thunders..The darkest area, bamboo tempera ashes, and a yellow oil part.
