    Description

The genuine spray-painted portrayal on canvas skillfully communicates the energetic atmosphere of a bustling New York street amid a rainy sunset. The scene is enveloped in a warm and immersive aura, created by the infusion of an orange-red indigo light. The artist adeptly blends chromatic tones, resulting in a transparent effect that mirrors the gleam on the wet pavement.

Luminous lights emanate from vehicles and urban structures, orchestrating a dynamic symphony of colors within the puddles forming on the road. Precision in depicting raindrops introduces a dynamic and reflective element to the composition. Buildings come alive with illuminated windows and bright signs, amplifying the vivid and pulsating nature of the scene.

Thoughtful attention to perspective captures the street's depth, while individuals seeking shelter under umbrellas or briskly walking along the sidewalk contribute a human and narrative dimension. The artist deftly manipulates shadows and lights, establishing evocative contrasts that emphasize the moody and contemporary essence of the city.

This authentic masterpiece, blending technical prowess with artistic sensibility, offers a captivating glimpse into a vibrant New York, teeming with life amid a sunset rain shower.

  • About this artist

    Concept

I never attended art school, my life has always been marked by the dualism between artistic
creativity and entrepreneurial skills. I consider myself a self-taught, and as such I have always
    sought autonomy in my way.
I am a realist artist and as such I paint scenes of everyday life, scenes from my time. In any way, I
leave a testimony of my passage. The idea is to capture the vital breath of the city through the flow
of people's life on the streets. So to speak, our paths have crossed and mutually changed their
course. With my paintings, I tell the beginning of a story, leaving as always to the viewer, the
freedom to imagine the continuation according to his own experience.
By doing this I always try to balance the two forces that lead me to paint: the first one marked
realism the other to a more conceptual simplification of traits.
My whole paintings completely reflect the dualism between this two forces. The color shades in
steps as level curves of a map has a precise meaning. Here comes what I call "sampled realism".
At first view, when you look at my paintings, you can have an almost realistic impact, but at more
attentively watch you can appreciate all the losses defined by the different colors between the
curves. It is a bit of a metaphor for the modern digital life. Day by day we lose some pieces that we
feel worthless, anyway absently we can't perceive this loss. These gaps represent not just the
shortcomings of our lives, but at the same time give us the opportunity to build a new reality
reformulated on our knowledge and experience.
