This colorful abstract artwork consists of two paintings. The inspiration behind it and the name comes from a quote of one of my favourite artist, Mark Rothko: "You've got sadness in you, I've got sadness in me - and my works of art are places where the two sadnesses can meet, and therefore both of us need to feel less sad."
My main source of inspiration is the human psyche, human feelings and emotions and I love to express mine into my art.
Even if inspiration comes from a quote about sadness, it is actually an artwork that brings joy and good vibes. Hopefully, when feeling "a little blue" this will make you feel happier :)
Painted in acrylic paint and oil sticks on unstretched cotton canvas, can be hung horizontally or vertically.
The single canvas dimensions are 50x65 cm, together they make a 50x130 cm or 100x65cm painting.
