Plaster ground on wooden panel, egg-yolk tempera Size: F10. In a dimly lit forest, I found a mushroom with a curious shape. It is probably a member of the broom mushroom family. This mushroom, which shows us its energetic and mysterious shape, is a decomposer of the forest. Mushrooms, as decomposers, connect life to the next life. I felt the workings of nature in such a connection of life and wanted to express it. This work contains the message that human beings are also part of nature. This work was created using egg yolk tempera. I make and paint with egg yolk, vinegar, water, and pigments. The colors are vivid and can be painted with great precision, but it is a time-consuming technique.
