Plaster ground on wooden panel, egg yolk tempera Size: F10 I have been thinking about the relationship between nature and human beings and making it into a work of art. The motif of this work is a pretty pink mushroom called "Hanao Chibatake. As the name implies, the leaf litter mushroom grows on fallen leaves. Mushrooms are decomposers in nature and have the role of passing life on to the next life. This work carries the message that humans are also part of nature. This work is made with egg yolk tempera. Egg yolk tempera is painted with egg yolk, vinegar, water, and pigments. The colors are vivid and precise, but the process is time-consuming.
