In my painting, "Heartbeat," I present a composition featuring purple gladioli set against a vibrant red-crimson backdrop. The flowers are not meticulously detailed, rather they are portrayed more as an impression. The dark purple leaves, which deviate from their natural color, add an intriguing element to the piece. The focal point of the composition is a single gladiolus flower, fully open and engaging with the viewer. Flowing from the top to the bottom of the painting, a stream of red paint cascades over the flowers, but interestingly, it does not cover the central gladiolus.
This intentional contrast symbolizes the resilience and vitality of life, even in the face of pain and adversity.
This artwork belongs to my series, "The Soul of One Flower," wherein I explore the humans profound emotions and experiences
