Egg as the protagonist of this painting and Dalí's favorite symbol for its duality between the hard exterior and the soft interior. Dalí links eggs to prenatal images and the intrauterine universe. It is a symbol of love and hope at the same time, the germ of life and the creation of the Universe, as well as the fertility and regeneration of life.
A tribute to Dalí and the egg which, in turn, and ironically, with a pop style, reflected some of the contradictions that arise in today's lifestyle and that are represented in the comments of the characters surrounding the egg.
