Silica, acrylic paint, lacquer spray, glue, bamboo, wood, 3D resin modeling materials "Every being also exists as a support to form something else when viewed from another world or dimension. In my work, I use the term "support" in the sense of "a kind of material that constitutes the work" and in the sense of "something that synchronizes the unreal essence of art as a medium. This work is a combination of two series of works, "Surroundscape" and "Graviternal". Surroundscape" is a series of works that expresses a temporary state while using the original motif as a literal support by combining wood and other materials to surround various motifs or by attaching various materials to them. The motif of this work is a 3D printed Buddha statue. The data was downloaded from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts on the Internet from the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, which has data of Buddha images from Gandhara art, believed to have been created in Pakistan around the 3rd century. Graviternal" is a series of works focusing on gravity, which has recently been suggested to travel between multiple dimensions, through the images that appear when the artist presses a unique modeling material made of silicon with a coloring agent against a panel, depending on the strength of the force with which the material is rubbed against the panel. By combining these two series, the work is expressed as a work that encompasses the two connotations of support mentioned above.
