    "Why did you quit the job that was your only dream since childhood?"

    "I had a job to find someone's hidden beauty and make it stand out more. However, my clients only wanted to erase themselves completely and paint them completely anew with pretty and splendid colors. Every time I did that, I told them their amazing charm. But they never really recognized their beauty. I got tired of it. I'm not the kind of person who draws product wrappers. But they're becoming a product themselves. I realized that wasn't really what I wanted."

    (The work 'Makeup' was conceived and drawn as a muse for a young woman who worked as a celebrity makeup artist.)

    Concept

    The work of painting may be a primitive and pure act as a young mind to look back on the forgotten past and record and leave the memories you encountered in order not to forget again.

    ​Most of the stories in my paintings start with the "dream" of childhood.
    When I was a teenager, I was in chaos, and when I entered my 20s, I was thirsty, and after I turned 30, I gave up one by one.
    The stories of childhood and youth, which were both strange and beautiful, are buried in the painting.
    "May you remember your childhood dreams."
    I hope that we can sympathize with each other in a place where our eyes touch.

    Does this art work need a frame?

    In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

    What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

    • If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.
    • If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.
    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
