Description

The painting was inspired by one of my dreams, in which I dreamed that I had a brother in Africa, during the dream I was very happy, and after waking up very sad. On the same evening I painted this picture, which was painted on occasion, and is also a collage technique. It was painted on prepared thicker cardboard, prepared as a canvas.
The work is also a collage in one smaller part.

I remember breakfast with my parents on Sunday morning, yogurt and warm pastries, I remember a children's series that was shown on Sundays, which was produced for Yugoslav television by a man from England who settled in Belgrade, I remember a few of my first rock albums that I bought , I remember the first books I read, and I remember when I was inevitably called to war.
One can liken viewing this collection to sticking your hands under a running faucet. Don't bother cupping your hands, as you'll only watch the water spill over and escape down the drain. Instead, appreciate the refreshing feeling and relish in its fleeting nature.
