In the "Soft Area" series, a female portrait in acrylic, without curves. Here, the character, a warrior, wanders through a desert landscape dotted with giant crystals. Concept

I draw my inspiration from collective memory: cinema, music, art, video games... often with a touch of nostalgia for my childhood in the 80's. I see myself as a craftsman, moving from one technique to another (stencil, collage, acrylic, 3D printing...) to create a "beautiful work".
The creative process is always pretty much the same: an idea, iconographic research, a trip to the Mac to adjust compositions and colors, then the realization of the work using the techniques best suited to the rendering imagined. The result is colorful works, packed with details, a mix of pop art and street art, with a touch of surrealism and derision. Intuitive or thoughtful gestures, bright colors or black and white, nostalgic or modern, my approach is always focused on a single goal: aesthetics.

Does this art work need a frame?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
