Explanation for the series of paintings:
“Beauty in Imperfection”
A series of paintings “Beauty in Imperfection” is about Imperfection, but not as an antagonist to the concept of Perfection, but rather as a process. A process that, when in contact with it, can be tart, bitter, spicy, sometimes sickly sweet and unbearably aromatic. Like most oriental dishes for our taste buds, but afterwards especially warming the whole body and revealing the immense depth of love for oneself and other people. Just as Imperfect.
“Beauty in imperfection” is the acceptance of special textures and shapes that are not obviously beautiful to the eye. This is the search for beauty in rust, in fading, in aging, in all processes of decay. And recognizing our own worth in ourselves and others, no matter how different we are.
“Beauty in imperfection” is an internal agreement with oneself and others, despite the difference in views and values. Searching and finding beauty in yourself and others is the point of growth of love.
