"Underwater"; I've focused entirely on contrast and material. Painting on the theme of water; here conceptualized. The work is almost abstract, but shows the surface of water, the in-between and the underneath. Water is thus represented in three different forms. Below the waterline, the sea is transparent and limpid: blue with variations, more or less green, more or less violet. The wave is very nuanced, shiny and in relief. As for the sky, it's perfectly black and matte; it's up to you to imagine, but it doesn't take priority here; it's here to serve as a foil. An innovative and novel interpretation of water, making this an absolutely original and unique work.
