Description

Luminissime": there's no such word, but the sound evokes exactly the feeling you get when you see this painting, which could be translated as "very very bright". The tree looks sparkling, but it's white and shaded. Depending on your own imagination, you might think of an almond tree in bloom, with its petals spilling to the ground, but it could just as easily be a snow-covered maple tree. Interpretation is free. The background is blue/green; emerald green, gradated from darkest to lightest. The overall mood is cool but radiant and positive. The canvas's bevels are painted in gray/beige. Spring, nature, white tree, almond tree in bloom, cherry tree, emerald green, duck-green blue, light and contrast.
