Description

"Le Jardin Céladon" (The Celadon Garden); A waterscape, a pond, with reflections of vegetation. It's painted almost abstractly, except for the willow branches, which would be a little more realistic. The weeping willow acts as a partial curtain, the falling vegetation lending depth to the scene. The atmosphere is vaporous, suffused with yellow light. It's reminiscent of sunrise, but there's a freshness to it. An extremely luminous work, with many shades of turquoise blue, celadon and emerald green, lemon yellow and golden yellow. The photos of the additional visuals were taken outdoors and indoors, also with different natural lights. The finish is matte. The edges of the canvas are painted light gray.
