Another attempt to study society’s prejudiced attitude towards women, the mental confrontation between personality and society, the individual’s inner strengths, motives, and subconscious urges through the prism of the artist’s personal value system. Each character, unique in expression and presence, invites contemplation on identity and existence. Hopefully it invites viewers into a reflective journey, adding a layer of profound introspection to any space.

Concept

Garry Arzumanyan, an artist mostly working in a surreal seascape genre, whose works substantially reflect the issues of the climate change, to which the attention of observers is constantly attracted. The global ocean level rise, restricted drinking water resources, all these global issues directly affect the life of a human being, and this mutual influence is perceived and presented through analyzing and depicting it in his art, through a prism of an individual existential dualism.

Art created by him passing through the lens of contrasting, sometimes conflicting existential feelings, focuses on these issues, and at the intersection of seascape, neo-expressive forms and surrealism, also allows him to study world's ecological, socio-psychological and economic issues.
His paintings reflect an idea that regardless of our self-identities, we should act as one for certain issues, and strive to find a key to solving global issues.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
