I feel the importance of accepting and respecting those who are different from us. As I paint this work, I feel a sense of compassion and understanding when I confront the deep meaning of the language of flowers. This is a work on the theme of "after the rain. The petals are decorated with raindrops. -ichirin series- There are people who have reasons not to display flowers. I am one of them. In my case, I don't display flowers for my beloved cat. It is said that there are more than 700 species of plants that are dangerous for cats. There are also those who cannot decorate with flowers because of allergies. There are also circumstances where they cannot easily go out to buy flowers. But decorating with flowers is just as relaxing as reading a book or drinking a cup of tea. I created the "ichirin" series with the hope that people will cherish such time. In the hot and humid climate of Japan, there is a possibility of "staining" or "mold" due to humidity, and there is also a risk of "fading" if displayed near a window. We would like to share with you some points to keep in mind when displaying and storing paintings at home so that you can display your works for a long time. Avoid places where the painting is exposed to direct sunlight, places where there is a risk of contact with water, such as around water, and places where the humidity tends to be high. The ideal temperature and humidity in a museum, for example, is approximately 18-20℃ and 50-60% humidity. Although it is difficult to control humidity strictly at home, we hope that you will take into consideration that art works are susceptible to sudden changes in temperature and humidity, and enjoy them in good condition for a long time. Many works of art are made of shiny materials. Artwork made of flexible materials, including acrylic paints, may have a slight tackiness (sticky feeling) that remains after drying. Please be aware that if an object is placed on top of the work, or if the work is in contact with an object for a long period of time, it may stick to the surface like glue or leave marks.
