Using acrylic paint, he combines colors and forms inspired by fragments of images from everyday life with material contrasts, such as the blotting, thickness, blurring, and differences in texture of the paint, and attempts to combine the various ways of handling the paint.
In this work, the contrast between the line drawing in oil pastel as a concrete image and the abstracted image of flowers and grasses boldly piled up from the center to the bottom of the screen, the color surface blotched over the line drawing, the dark colors and the white ground at the bottom of the screen, and various other elements are intertwined, and when viewed from a little distance, they appear as a clear and cohesive picture. The aim of this work is to create a cohesive image and to leave an impact when viewed from a distance.
This work is one of my answers to the title of the series, "Colors on Canvas.
I also created this work with an awareness that it is a work of art, including the painting aspect, and I have exhibited it without a frame at my own solo exhibition, so I think it will give a modern impression when displayed as it is.
