Using acrylic paint, he combines colors and forms inspired by fragments of images from everyday life with material contrasts, such as the blotting, thickness, blurring, and differences in texture of the paint, and attempts to combine the various ways of handling paint.
This work was included in his solo exhibition "Riverside" (Hyogo) in 2021.
In this work, he boldly paints an image of the water's edge on an uncoated canvas.
The image of the water's surface, which occupies a large portion of the canvas, is painted with many thin layers of paint and blotches of paint, and the seemingly simple composition has many devices to increase its presence.
