There is a widespread problem called the coffee 2050 problem. What it is is a rumor that by around 2050, most of the coffee we drink today may no longer be drinkable. The cause is the effects of global warming caused by deforestation and the massive disposal of garbage including coffee waste. In the field of coffee alone, Japan has a record of being the fourth largest coffee consuming country in the world, despite its minuscule production. How can we continue to consume coffee without giving it back? As a coffee vendor, I have found a way to turn coffee jute bags into canvas. The canvas was originally made of jute, so the texture and density are a little different, but I managed to create this work. If people buy these "coffee jute bag canvases," they will not only consume coffee, but also give it back to the coffee farmers in Japan and to the local producers. The idea is to draw pop, unique, creepy-crawly characters. This time it's a fun camping scene of a mushroom family. It doesn't look like camping at all, but this seems to be their style. The work has an impact that is easy to see and pops on the canvas with a sustainable message about coffee consumption.
