The subtitle is "You and Prayer. You" can be your past self, your beloved child, or someone whose name you do not know, whom you may have crossed paths with someday. I think of "you," and repeat the chain of memories evoked about "you" that are associated with it. Every "you" has a shadow of someone, and the "you" that is gradually conceptualized invites the viewer into an endless game of association. All paintings are painted on wooden panels using only acrylic paint. This work challenges the new concept of layers in painting, in which a chart is superimposed on top of a chart. The work is scheduled to be delivered around August.
