Description

Ares makes the bloody walking on the scorched canvas. The flame keep burning under his feet for more that 2000 years. The colour of the trace never change unlike enemy flag's stripes.
I wish the world preserves the memories of ancient myths with arts only but alas... Human's thrist for destruction is never-ending.
"Ares" is the main canvas of "Ich hasse" series. This series about protest against negative and decadent behaviour, against hypocrisy, against fake news. The works represent power structures that dominate both the individual and society as a whole.

Canvas made by acrylic and constraction paints. The effect of burnt paint was achieved by literally burning the canvas. Lines by acrylic markers, shadows by airbrush, calligraphy on the back by regular brushes.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
