Uyafuji" means "ancestors" in the Okinawan dialect. I first thought of my father, mother, uncles, and grandmother. And I myself will be Uyafuji someday. I am here because of my ancestors. I will carry on the scenery, culture, and spirit that have been passed down from generation to generation. I painted this work with such thoughts as "I want to protect it" in my prayer. Materials: gold leaf, silver leaf, acrylic paint
