Instead of painting on canvas, the artist prefers to paint his models with paint directly. His works have already been exhibited in the museum of contemporary art in Beijing. Hushang Omidizadeh's paintings are ultimately about the invisible, the essential in people: Not the environment, not abstracting the real, but the real itself! To achieve this, he reduces both color and means. In the series "Bodyprints" the artist does without brushes and paints his models with paint, who then leave their colored traces on the painting surface by laying themselves on the canvas. They are imprints of their own bodies, the unadorned truth of their identity.
