San Francisco is a city that holds deep memories for me. The Napa Flight Crew Training Center is located in the nearby Napa Valley, and after completing basic training (aeronautical engineering, meteorology, navigation, aviation English, etc.) at the training center in Tokyo, pilots and flight engineer trainees travel to the United States to obtain their pilot's licenses. As a company policy, the flight engineers trained for nearly 9 months to obtain a private pilot license for better and safer flight operations. If you fail the check twice, you are sent back to Tokyo. The basic course was very rigorous with no retraining. The instructors were a JAL co-pilot and two foreign instructors. I still have fond memories of my co-pilot instructor, who was very strict and gave me a lot of pep talk. The old 727 is flying over San Francisco. The size of the work is 42 x 31.5cm. It is drawn on a cardboard board.
