Japanese cherry blossoms are known throughout the world as the flower that embodies spring. While cherry blossoms have words in the language of flowers such as "spiritual beauty" and "purity," many people imagine cherry blossoms as a festive event associated with cherry blossom viewing. The deformed sakura symbol, which I painted with great impression this time, expresses "memory" and "time" by dynamically using white mixed with sand-like medium, and "life" and "finite" by drawing grass in green, which is the complementary color of white. The word "transience" and the message "remember me", which is another word for cherry blossoms, are used in this design to express the fleeting nature of cherry blossoms. This work dances with ennui, expressing the thought of "don't forget me" by using cherry blossoms as a symbol.
