I painted this image of a place called "paradise" peeking through a gap between overlapping clouds. I painted the pattern with acrylic paint, then drew the pattern with a pen on top of the paint. I used circles to frame the four sides of the painting and left a blank space in the center to create a composition as if I were looking down from a high place.
On the way back to my parents' house, I saw the sunset. It was beautiful to see a deep mixture of yellow and orange in the sky, with pale streaks of blue that seemed to be left over from the daytime.
After that, I would discover many other beautiful landscapes, but when I try to picture "paradise" for me, the colors of that sunset still come to mind.
