The heat and brilliance of the sun had already been replaced by the coolness of the night and the dim light of the young moon, which, forming a pale glowing semicircle around itself on the blue of the starry sky, was beginning to descend. The stars, strewn with myriads of cloudless sky, seemed to argue with their brilliance with the opaque disk of the moon, pouring out its short light on the earth shrouded in a snow-white shroud.
To create this work, I used texture paste, acrylic paint, gold leaf. The last layer of varnish retains color for many years and protects the painting from UV rays. Ready for hanging - no additional framing is required. The ends of the drawing are painted over to match the main background of the drawing.
