Inspired by the magnolias that grow in Sochi, I painted this picture. I decided to show an interesting shape of a magnolia leaf. The shapes will be determined among the light and shadow of the composition. The balance of golden dots flows from one part of the sheet to another.
With the help of modeling paste and a palette knife, a relief of a magnolia leaf was created. In this work, gold leaf is used, which gives a special radiance when considering the painting from different points of view. The ends of the drawing are painted over. The last layer of varnish retains color for many years and protects the painting from dust and UV rays.
Ready for hanging - no additional framing is required.
