This work is my own "first work," created over a period of four months in 2008. By definition, a "first work" means that I was convinced and established that these colors and motifs were my worldview. Jewelry, flowers, butterflies, women, and the universe. The fusion of these elements represents the "character" of Maika Kobayashi. A fusion of realism and abstraction, reality and dreams, objects and people. My work is like a collage of various things I have seen in my life painting, which are "not fully mixed" but "alive" with each other.
